Ben Salama

SVP Large Accounts 

Ben has more than 25 years of international experience within the software and IT industry.

Born in 1954, Ben holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a master's degree in Computer Science from Queen Mary College, University of London. Following early technical roles as a university researcher and a software developer at AT&T Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ, Ben pursued a commercial career in the software industry. Over the last 20 years he has built and led sales, marketing and development teams delivering high-value, complex software solutions in financial services and telecom.

Previous positions include CEO of Interactive Systems, a systems integration company with 220 employees based in Chicago, IL; Vice President of SHL Systemhouse, a $1.2B systems integration company based in Toronto, ON, and President & CEO of Almonde Inc., a banking sector business intelligence software product company based in Paris, France.

Ben joined Teleca in August 2004 as Managing Director of Teleca's UK operations. He transferred to Beijing in January 2007 where he was responsible for Teleca's Asia Pacific operations for two years prior to taking up his current position in January 2009.
