Employees

Teleca’s integrity and reputation are in the hands of our employees. To make sure our personal conduct always complies with the Business Conduct Guidelines, once a year all our employees sign that they have read and understood the guidelines.

Treating people with respect and protecting human rights

Treating our employees with respect and protecting their human rights is fundamental to Teleca. This means that no employee shall be discriminated against because of e.g. race, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, parental status, religion, political opinion, nationality, ethnic background, social origin, disability, age or union membership. Teleca will not tolerate sexual harassment, actions or comments,  nor racial or religious slurs, jokes or any other comments or conduct in the workplace that creates, encourages or permits an offensive, intimidating or inappropriate work environment.

We aim to offer employees with the same experience, performance and qualifications equal pay for equal work with respect to those performing the same jobs under similar working conditions.

Health and safety

The health of employees and the safety of the workplace is always a priority concern for Teleca. This applies to all aspects of working conditions such as noise level, temperature, ventilation, lighting and quality of and access to sanitary facilities. We have strict rules about drugs and alcohol and employees that are under the influence are not allowed to work.

It is the ambition of Teleca to live up to United Nations Global Compact initiative, covering the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental management and anti-corruption.

Gifts and bribes

Ethical conduct is very important to Teleca. Therefore we have rules stipulating that Teleca employees may not offer or accept gifts, benefits or entertainment to or from a third party if that constitutes a violation of laws or if it could appear to affect their professional judgment. The taking or giving of bribes or kickbacks is of course always strictly forbidden.
